OAER is a Romanian non-governmental organization founded in 2011, now counting over 200 members (mechanical and electrical engineers, architects), all of whom are energy auditors (according to EPBD).
OAER's objective is to create an organizational framework for promoting measures, concepts, and actions that support professional interests, as well as to enhance and improve the long-term activities of higher education graduates and specialists in research, project execution, and operations, aiming at achieving energy-efficient buildings. OAER also provides the appropriate institutional, material, and social framework for its members to express themselves, while representing and protecting the interests of building energy auditors.
OAER (The Order of Energy Auditors of Romania) is the developer and copyright holder of the ENERG + software (designed for energy consumption calculations and NZEB design, http://www.energ-plus.ro), the main organizer of RCEPB (The Romanian Conference on Building Energy Performance, www.rcepb.ro), and the initiator of the OAER CARAVAN – a series of events aimed at disseminating EU legislative and technical information among local and regional authorities, as well as among EPB, RES, and IEQ professionals.
