APMGS: The Health of Construction Must Start with Compliance with Legislation

Mariana_Garstea_-_APMGSIn an interview with the construction magazine Agenda Constructiilor on July 6, Mrs. Mariana Garstea, President of APMGS and CEO of Sixense Romania, highlighted the measures necessary for achieving a structurally healthy, safe, and resilient transport infrastructure. This, however, is contingent upon compliance with current legislation and the importance of awareness and structural monitoring during the execution phase, adapting to the efficient and high-performance exploitation of built infrastructures.

Throughout the interview, several key aspects were detailed, including:

  • The need to reflect price increases on the industry represented by APMGS in the budgets allocated for structural and geotechnical monitoring works.
  • The importance that should be given to structural monitoring in the safety sector for transport infrastructure.
  • The objectives set at the association level for 2023 and in the perspective of 2024-2025.
  • The main current challenges faced in operations.

You can find details regarding the responses given during the interview here.
