BIM represents collaborative labor method within which professional teams provide information for the asset that is developing or exploited, shared in the form of informational containers that are federated in the cloud; a process as well as the information model that updates permanently

Is a complex concept that requires a lot of standardization and process preparation in advance in order to not set off without a thorough organization.

Initially BIM stand for Building Information Model, but in short time those who developed this concept concluded that the accent must fall on the process, so it was changed in Building Information Modelling.

In order to understand the concept, we must understand the basic terms that describe the fundamental parts that are referred in BIM standards.

• Investment life cycle – project steps or work plan
• Matrix of responsibilities
• Construction classification systems – entirely and divided into components on proceedings categories

In a country where the above terms are not clearly understood, projects cannot be implemented through the BIM concept. We can discuss about BIM Ready concept in a sense of sharing basic information models based on which conflicts are verified and quantities are automatically extracted, but these proceedings represent a small part of what the whole concept has to offer.
