We are pleased to announce the completion of the updated Roadmap for Workforce Qualification in the Construction Sector, an essential document for achieving national goals related to energy efficiency and the use of renewable energy sources by 2030. This revised document addresses the urgent need to eliminate the barriers and gaps identified in the sector, proposing concrete and coherent measures.
The Roadmap focuses on three main strategic objectives:
The first objective aims to simplify the continuous training of green and digital skills by updating the regulatory framework, optimizing the national qualification system, and ensuring the transferability of skills.
The second objective focuses on ensuring an adequate and accessible supply of skills training, developing a matrix of green and digital competencies, creating and accrediting training programs, and ensuring quality in education and training.
The third objective seeks to stimulate demand for green and digital skills through campaigns promoting green objectives, training public officials in green skills, and establishing benefits based on energy efficiency and digitalization criteria.
This initiative, set to be part of a government-adopted memorandum, represents not just a step forward, but an essential achievement for the construction sector, significantly contributing to the national goals of energy efficiency and sustainability.
The Roadmap was developed following extensive consultations with stakeholders, conducted through seven regional workshops and two conferences, as well as online. This document will serve as a foundation for strategic partnerships between the government, the private sector, and educational institutions, aimed at effectively implementing the proposed measures.
